How can antimicrobial stewardship activities thrive in acute care hospitals in Switzerland ?

This event will explore how antimicrobial stewardship activities can be successfully established and strengthened across hospitals with different realities and resources — particularly smaller hospitals, hospitals with limited resources, or hospitals facing organisational challenges.

The programme combines field reports, interactive orientation sessions, and discussions of antimicrobial stewardship’s action fields. Participants will also have the opportunity to reflect on feasible next steps for their own hospital and exchange experiences with peers from across Switzerland.

Target groups

The event is designed for professionals involved in antimicrobial stewardship and the quality of care, particularly infectious diseases specialists, hospital pharmacists and microbiologists, quality and change management professionals interested in antimicrobial stewardship.

We would be happy to welcome you — whether your hospital is looking for inspiration on how to get started, is still developing antimicrobial stewardship activities, or already has an established stewardship programme.
